Who we are

4Diwari ("we", "us") operates an online real estate marketplace. This policy explains how we collect and use personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

• Account data: name, mobile number, email, password (stored only as a one-way hash).
• Listing data: property details, photos, address and coordinates you provide.
• Activity data: searches, saved properties, enquiries, messages and visit bookings.
• Verification documents: only when you choose to upload them. These are stored privately and are visible only to you and authorised staff.
• Payment data: handled by our payment partner (Razorpay). We never see or store card, UPI or bank credentials.

How we use it

To operate the marketplace, connect seekers with listers, prevent fraud, send notifications you have enabled, and meet legal obligations.

What others can see

Your phone number is shown to other users only if you enable it on a listing. Listings with "approximate location" never reveal the exact address publicly.

Your rights

You can access and export your data (Account Settings → Download my data), correct it, withdraw consent for optional notifications, and delete your account. Records we must keep by law (for example tax invoices) are retained in anonymised form.
