Before you search

Decide your maximum monthly outgo: rent + maintenance. In Mumbai, security deposits are often several months' rent — check the deposit filter.

Use filters for BHK, furnishing, tenant preferences (bachelors, families, pets), and availability date. Save your search to get alerts.

Book visits from the listing page. Check water supply, ventilation, society rules, parking and commute.

Ask for proof of ownership (index II / share certificate) or the agent's RERA registration. Never pay a token before you visit.

Apply through 4Diwari to share your details with the owner.
Agree rent, deposit, lock-in, notice period and maintenance in writing.
In Maharashtra, leave & licence agreements must be registered; pay stamp duty and registration fee through a compliant provider.
Complete tenant police verification.
